For 18 years, El Cachivache Quinteto has toured the world with a sound that blends Buenos Aires tradition, raw stage energy and a distinctly modern spirit. Their music - often described as tango punk - has made them one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary tango.

Career and presence 

The band has performed in more than 50 countries across three continents, appearing in concert halls, festivals, milongas and world music circuits. It was selected for WOMEX representing Argentina in 2019 and 2025, and is now also part of the Putumayo World Music catalgoue.
